education with a purpose
The primary reason for founding Grace Christian Academy was to establish a school that had a distinct difference from other schools. Our school was instituted to provide an atmosphere that would excel in academics and at the same time provide a child with the biblical training necessary for proper character and moral uprightness.
We desire to educate children and young people in such a way so as to cause them to become rooted in biblical faith, to grow in their relationship to Christ, and to learn to serve God and their fellow man. To that end GCA strives to provide instruction in all the critical disciplines. Math, Reading, Literature, Science, History, Spelling and Bible are given very high priority. The school also provides outstanding instruction in the musical and visual arts, Physical Education, Health and Computer Science.
Our Goals As A School
God's purpose and calling for GCA is the provision of a Christ-centered, Bible-based Christian School, which assists parents in the education and training of their children according to God's Word and will. GCA is a training center with a stimulating Christian environment that strives to promote Christian values, Christian discipline and Christian goals for each child.
Our Goals Simply Defined:
- To assist parents in providing a God-centered, Bible-based education with high academic standards that
gives the student a Christian worldview.
- To profoundly impact each student with the knowledge of God's plan of salvation, providing every child with
the opportunity to accept Jesus as his personal Lord and Saviour.
- To develop the character qualities that glorify God as Jesus portrayed through His life of obedience and
service.
- To disciple each child in the maturity of Christian commitment by instilling Christian values, Christian
discipline, and Christian goals.
- To demonstrate and help each child experience God's power in his daily life.
- To assist each individual in achieving his best according to his own "God-given" ability and
talent, and in the process develop self-confidence and a positive self-image.
